This nourishing aftercare balm helps to moisturize and protect fresh tattoos, particularly fine-line designs, ensuring they heal smoothly and with vibrant results. Here’s how you make it:

  1. 🔬 Method:

    1. Sanitise Your Workspace
Before starting, clean and sanitise all equipment and surfaces.

      • Use alcohol to disinfect tools, containers, and work surfaces

      • Wear disposable gloves throughout the process

      • Maintain a clean, sterile environment

    2. Melt the Shea Butter
Gently heat 500g of shea butter in a clean pot until fully melted into a liquid oil. Use low heat.

    3. Add Oils
Remove from heat and immediately add:

      • 20 drops Almond Oil

      • 20 drops Vitamin E Oil

      • 20 drops Lemon Oil

      • 20 drops Wild Rose Oil

    4. Mix Thoroughly
Stir the mixture well to ensure all oils are combined evenly.

    5. Cool Slightly & Decant
Let the mixture cool slightly, then carefully pour into a clean, easy-pour container.

    6. Fill the Tubs
Use a sterile syringe or pipette to fill your 5ml tubs with the balm.

    7. Cover and Set
Cover filled tubs with a clean dust sheet to protect from dust.
Allow to set at room temperature for 3–4 hours until solid.

    8. Clean, Seal, and Store
      Once set:

      • Wipe each tub with an alcohol wipe or antibacterial cloth

      • Seal with lids

      • Store in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months
